Bangkok Airways is a regional airline based in Bangkok, Thailand. It is the first privately owned airline and a frequent winner of industry awards. Bangkok Airways describes itself as “Asia’s Boutique Airline.” The airline began its scheduled services in 1986. Initially named Sahakol Air, the airline changed its name to Bangkok Airways in 1989.

The airline's primary hub is Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK), and its secondary hubs are Phuket International Airport (HKT) and Chiang Mai International Airport (CNX).

"To be the leading airline in Asia" is the slogan of Bangkok Airways.

As of May 2025, Bangkok Airways operates the following aircraft: 10 ATR 72-600, 11 Airbus A319-100, and 2 Airbus A320-200.

Bangkok Airways offers two types of classes on its planes: Economy Class and Blue Ribbon Class (Business Class). It provides full-course meals on board and lounges for every passenger on the ground, offering snacks and drinks.
