Luxair

Luxair is the flag carrier of Luxembourg with its headquarters and hub at Luxembourg Airport. It operates scheduled services to destinations in Europe, North Africa, the Mediterranean and the Middle East with additional charter and seasonal services. It is Luxembourg's only passenger-carrying airline offering regular, non-charter service.

As of September 2023, Luxair’s aircraft includes 4 Boeing 737-700, 4 Boeing 737-800 and 12 De Havilland Q400.

The De Havilland Q400 is the latest addition to the Luxair fleet. It is a short to medium-haul twin turboprop plane that has significantly lower CO2 emissions compared to other jets of its kind, which makes it a greener and quieter plane that is unrivalled in terms of performance, technology and comfort. This model also has greater flexibility for take-off and landing over short distances, which means it is the most suitable and efficient aircraft for developing our destination network across most of Europe.

The Boeing 737 is a highly reliable, medium-haul, twin-engine jet that is the world’s most popular commercial jet.

Luxair offers 2 cabin classes: Economy Class and Business Class. A small regional airline, Luxair provides good onboard product (seats, catering, cleanliness) standards to customers in both Business and Economy classes.

Economy Class: passengers can order a selection of food and drinks from the airline's in-flight menu.

While there's no in-flight entertainment system, each passenger is given a copy of the airline's in-flight magazine.

Business Class: Luxair has always put the customer at the heart of its business. As well as fully flexible tickets, Business Class passengers are given priority check-in, security, boarding and passport control on select flights from select airports.
