Vietjet, operating as VietJet Air, is a Vietnamese low-cost airline based in Hanoi. It was the first privately owned airline established in Vietnam in November 2007. This airline was first flown on 25-12-2011. The first-ever flight route was Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) - Hanoi (HAN) using Airbus A320-200.

Vietjet Air operates with the IATA code (VJ) and flies more than 120 domestic and international routes. The airline flies to destination cities all over the world with its main hub located at Da Nang International Airport (DAD), Noi Bai International Airport (HAN), Cat Bi International Airport (HPH), Tân Sơn Nhất International Airport (SGN), Cam Ranh International Airport (CXR).

Vietjet's fleet consists of the following aircraft: 17 Airbus A320-200, 36 Airbus A321-200, 36 Airbus A321neo, 7 Airbus A330-300 and 2 COMAC ARJ21-700.
