1 st Day: 21.06.2025
Yerevan, Khor Virap, Areni, Noravank, Yerevan

At 09:00 am, you will be picked up by the guide-driver at your accommodation, and you'll head to Khor Virap, which was first established in 642 CE. Khor Virap is one of the well-known pilgrimage sites for the Armenians. There is a panoramic view of Mt. Ararat, Armenia's most famous symbol and the highest mountain in the Armenian Highland, that will give you a memorable image of snow-capped Mt. Ararat in all its glory (+-1 hour).

_ 11:00 am: continuing the tour, you'll head to Areni (duration: +- 80 minutes).

_ +12:20 pm you'll be in Areni village. Here you'll discover the Vayots Dzor earth, beauty, art and nature. The first stop in the village is Areni Cave 1: an ancient cave formation, with high chambers and huge stalactites and stalagmites of Areni cave 1. This cave is a magical, mystical place and is best known for its archaeological artefacts. Your guide will bring the history, features and archaeological artefacts of the cave to life with her storytelling. Walk along safe boardwalks into narrow chambers.

Next (+-13:30), you'll visit one of the famous local cellars, where you taste high-quality white and red wines, get a chance to learn a little about local winemaking and have a tasty lunch (duration: +- 1 hour).

Further, you will continue South, to see Noravank (at +-15:00 you'll arrive there): one of the greatest Medieval monasteries of Armenia and learn about the beautiful architecture. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the birthplace of one of the most famous architectural and manuscript schools in medieval Armenia (+-1 hours).

You will arrive in Yerevan in the evening, between 18:30 and 19:00.


2 nd Day: 22.06.2025
Yerevan, Geghard Monastery (Liturgy), Temple Garni, Garni Gorge (Symphony of Stones), Back to Yerevan, City Tour in Yerevan, Lavash Masterclass, Yerevan


Your unforgettable day begins with hotel pickup at 9:30 AM, as we whisk you away to explore Armenia's treasures. First, arrive at the awe-inspiring Geghard Cave Monastery (approx. 10:10 AM). This UNESCO World Heritage site is a masterpiece, partially carved directly from the mountain rock. Step inside where spectacular towers and unique lighting create an unforgettable atmosphere. You'll even have the chance to attend a liturgy in this sacred place. After exploring Geghard, you'll journey to Garni (approx. 11:50 AM). Here, marvel at the magnificent Hellenistic Sun Temple of Garni, Armenia's only standing classical Greco-Roman collonaded structure and a powerful symbol of its pagan past. Built in 76 AD, this ancient temple dedicated to Mihr, the god of the sun, offers a remarkable glimpse into history. (Approx. 1 hour visit).

Next, at 1:00 PM, prepare to be amazed as we descend into the Garni Canyon. Witness the incredible "Symphony of Stones", where hexagonal basalt columns rise dramatically, forming a unique natural wonder. (Approx. 1 hour visit). Before leaving Garni, you'll have an opportunity to experience local culture by baking traditional Lavash bread. Here, you'll enjoy and learn about the techniques for making LAVASH.

At 3:00 PM, you'll return to Yerevan for a truly immersive cultural experience. In Yerevan, you'll have a comprehensive Yerevan City Tour. Discover fascinating history at the Erebuni Historical-Archaeological Reserve-Museum, then admire soviet architectural landmarks like the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex. Take in panoramic views from Victory Park and visit the poignant Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial. Conclude your day with a delightful evening walking tour through the heart of Yerevan, exploring iconic spots like Republic Square, the majestic Cascade, the historic Opera House, and the beautiful Blue Mosque.
 

3rd Day: 23.06.2025
Yerevan, Sevan (Sevanavank), Dilijan (Haghartsin, Goshavank), village Fioletovo, Lake Parz, Yerevan


Begin your day by journeying to the enchanting northeast of Armenia, where vibrant cityscapes fade into the breathtaking mountainous landscapes of the Tavush region. This immersive experience will transport you to some of Armenia's most cherished gems. Your first captivating stop is Noratus, where you'll discover one of the unique cultural sides of Armenia: Khachkars. Your second stop will be the renowned Lake Sevan. Gaze upon its crystal-clear waters and explore the stunning historic peninsula, home to the medieval Sevanavank Monastery. This magnificent lake and its ancient monastery form one of Europe's most picturesque landscapes, promising truly unforgettable views.

Next, unwind in the tranquil embrace of Dilijan, often called Armenia's "Little Switzerland". Here, step back in time as you discover the exquisite medieval churches and intricate khachkars (cross-stones) of Haghartsin and Goshavank. Afterwards, delve into the unique culture of Fioletovo, a cosy village where Russian Old Believers, known as Molokans, have preserved their traditions for over 200 years. Conclude your exploration with a serene drive through ancient forests to the incredible Lake Parz. At 1,400 meters above sea level, prepare to capture panoramic photos of its serene beauty, reflecting the lush surroundings.


As evening falls, you'll return to Yerevan, carrying memories of Armenia's natural splendour, historical depth, and unique cultural encounters.
