Air Mauritius

Air Mauritius is the flag carrier airline of Mauritius. The airline is headquartered in Port Louis, Mauritius, with its hub at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (MRU). Air Mauritius was incorporated on 14 June 1967, a few months before the country gained independence. Over more than 50 years, Air Mauritius has carved out a key role as the national airline of Mauritius, providing air connectivity that has been crucial for the development of the island.

Air Mauritius currently operates direct flights to 12 destinations in Europe, India, Africa, Asia, Australia and the Indian Ocean islands. From Paris Charles De Gaulle airport (CDG), connections are offered to above 70 destinations in Europe with Air France.

Air Mauritius adheres to the strictest standards of safety, and its operating standards are compliant with the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA).

Besides, in addition to being certified as a duly approved Mauritian Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) maintenance organisation, Air Mauritius is also European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) compliant, which means that the airline can undertake the maintenance of aircraft registered in Europe.
