Established in 1988, Asiana Airlines is an airline based at Seoul Incheon International Airport with a secondary hub at Seoul Gimpo International Airport in South Korea. Majority-owned by one of South Korea's largest conglomerates, the Hyundai Development Company, Asiana is one of the largest airlines in South Korea and an increasingly important player in the East Asian region. The airline serves destinations across Asia, North America, Australia and Europe.

 The slogan, “Always with You,” implies four keywords - novelty, sincerity, kindness and quality - which all its employees will pursue to make a company that is “always with customers,” Asiana said in a statement.

Asiana is a member of the Star Alliance. Asiana Airlines operates 74 international passenger routes to 62 destinations in 21 countries and 22 cargo routes to 25 cities in 11 counties. Asiana Airlines recently launched cutting-edge A350 services with in-flight connectivity to Fukuoka, Hanoi, San Francisco and London to provide the ultimate travel experience.

Asiana Airlines has a codeshares agreement with Air Astana, Air Busan, Air Canada, Air China, Air India, Air Macau, Air New Zealand, Air Seoul, All Nippon Airways, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Copa Airlines, Croatia Airlines, EgyptAir, Ethiopian Airlines, Etihad Airways, EVA Air, Hong Kong Airlines, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, Myanmar, Airways International, Qantas, Qatar Airways, S7 Airlines, Shandong Airlines, Shenzhen Airlines, Singapore Airlines, South African Airways, Thai Airways, Turkish Airlines, United Airlines.

As of August 2021, Asiana Airlines operates a fleet, currently comprising 62 aircraft. Asiana fleet consists of 1 Boeing B747-400, 13 Airbus A350-900, 9 Boeing B777-200ER, 15 Airbus A330-300, 4 Boeing B767-300, 4 Airbus A321-neo, 14 Airbus A321-200, 2 Airbus A320-200.

Asiana Airlines offers five classes of services - First Suite Class, First Class, Business Smartium Class, Business Class and Travel (Economy) class. Seat configurations and in-flight entertainment systems vary by the type of aircraft and its operating routes.

Since 2007, Asiana Airlines has been awarded 5-Star by Skytrax for the quality of its airport and onboard product and staff service. Product rating includes seats, amenities, food & beverages, IFE, cleanliness etc, and service rating is for both cabin staff and ground staff.
