Czech Airlines, also known as CSA, is a modern European airline providing friendly and flexible services based on adherence to safety and high quality using its vast experience and long tradition of a carrier established in 1923. The airline operates mainly scheduled flights and serves 22 destinations as of 2021. Flights are operated mainly in Europe, with Beirut being the sole remaining Middle Eastern destination. Via its codeshare partners, CSA offers more than 110 destinations and 45 countries from Prague.
Czech Airlines is the flag carrier of the Czech Republic and it's one of the five oldest airlines in the world after Dutch KLM (1919), Colombian Avianca (1919), Australian Qantas (1920), and Soviet/Russian Aeroflot (1923). It was the first airline in the world to fly regular jet-only routes between Prague and Moscow.
The airline head office is on the grounds of 6th district Prague, Vokovice. The airline's hub is at Václav Havel Airport Prague.
Czech Airlines is a founder member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and have been a member of a global alliance of air carriers, the SkyTeam Alliance, since 2001.

Czech Airlines has OK Plus frequent flyer programme. It gives passengers "OK Plus Miles" for flights with Czech Airlines, SkyTeam member airlines, other partner airlines or non-airline partners such as hotels, car rentals, banks etc. OK Plus membership cards are available with the following tier levels: OK Plus membership, OK Plus Silver, OK Plus Gold, and OK Plus Platinum. The higher the card level, the greater the number of benefits passengers receive.
In March 2021, the airline filed for bankruptcy however negotiating with the creditors about restructuring continues and the airline still operates flights to limited number of destinations. On 7 June 2021, Czech Airlines received the support of its creditors as they approved the company's reorganization. The creditors' meeting also decided that Czech Airlines' parent company, Smartwings, should prepare the respective reorganization plan. The permission for reorganization represents another significant milestone in the process of rescuing Czech Airlines and securing its further development.
Czech Airlines holds 3-Star Airline status from Skytrax for the quality of its airport and onboard product and staff service. Product rating includes seats, amenities, food & beverages, IFE, cleanliness etc, and service rating is for both cabin staff and ground staff.
