Gulf Air is the flag carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The airline commenced operations in 1950. Its main hub is Bahrain International Airport. Headquartered in Muharraq, under the slogan ‘A class of our own’, Gulf Air operates scheduled flights to 52 destinations in 28 countries across Africa, Asia, and Europe. Gulf Air is the sponsor of the Bahrain Grand Prix and Bahrain International Airshow, where some of its fleet of aircraft sport liveries of the event.
Gulf Air currently serves all its destinations with a combination of wide and narrow body fleet of Boeing and Airbus aircraft. As of January 2022, Gulf Air operates a fleet, currently comprising 34 (+ 3 on Order/Planned: 3 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner) aircraft. The fleet consists of 6 Airbus A321-200, 4 Airbus A321neo, 11 Airbus A320-200, 6 Airbus A320neo, 7 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

They are also equipped with a business center allocated for business people to follow-up their business activities in a quiet atmosphere and enjoy their privacy.
Economy Class: Seats are comfortable and are equipped with adjustable headrests and individual screens installed to the back of seats to display entertainment materials. Also, Economy class passengers are offered mouth-watering meals and refreshing beverages.
Gulf Air received APEX Five Star Major Official Airline Rating at the APEX EXPO held in-person between 30 November and 2 Dectember 2021, for the second cosecutive year in a row.
7-th January 2022, Gulf Air has been certified with the highest 5-Star COVID-19 Airline Safety Rating by Skytrax, becoming one of just sixteen airlines in the world to currently achieve this top recognition and the third airline in the Middle East to gain the 5-Star COVID-19 Safety Rating.
