Oman Air (Arabic: الطيران العماني‎), the flagship company of Oman, commenced operations in 1993. Starting off as a regional airline, Oman’s national carrier has witnessed rapid growth in the years after it was established. Today, it is recognised as a major global airline connecting cities across the world to Oman. Oman Air has played a major role in making Muscat a leading traffic hub in the Middle East and supporting commercial, industrial and tourism activities. It operates a network of 50 destinations in 27 countries. Oman Airt flies to 11 destinations in India.

Oman Air has codeshare agreements with the following airlines: EgyptAir, Emirates, Ethiopian Airlines, Etihad Airways, Garuda Indonesia, Gulf Air, Kenya Airways, KLM, Lufthansa, Malaysia Airlines, Qatar Airways, Royal Jordanian, Saudia, Singapore Airlines, SriLankan Airlines, Thai Airways.

The Oman Air fleet consists of modern, fuel-efficient aircraft with attractive, award-winning interiors. Ultra-modern in-flight service equipment is deployed on-board to improve safety and overall performance. Investment in new technology, planning and product innovation has propelled Oman Air to the forefront of the aviation industry.

Oman Air offers 2 classes of services: Economy Class and Business Class.

As of January 2025, Oman Air proudly operates a diverse and cutting-edge fleet of 40 aircraft, with an additional 4 on order. The fleet includes the versatile Airbus A330-200, the spacious A330-300, and a powerful array of Boeing models: the dynamic 737-800, the efficient 737-900ER, the innovative 737 MAX 8, and the luxurious Dreamliners—the Boeing 787-8 and the larger 787-9. With this impressive combination of modern aircraft, Oman Air continues to soar to new heights in air travel.

The highlight of the current Oman Air logo is an abstract symbol, which can be interpreted as a bird’s wing, the flame of the torch, or just a dynamic swoosh or whirl. Below, comes the name of the airline in Arabic and English.
