Scoot is the low-cost airline of the Singapore Airlines Group. With Singapore Airlines’ (SIA) codeshare agreement with Scoot, you’ll enjoy a budget-friendly way to connect to over 30 destinations outside of Singapore Airlines’ networks.

The airline is based at Singapore Changi Airport and operates international flights across Asia, Oceania and parts of Europe.

The airline launched in 2012, originally with a focus to fly medium-haul and long-haul flights, mainly to destinations within India and China. In 2017, Singapore Airlines' merged its other child airline, Tigerair, with Scoot. Scoot took on the majority of Singapore Airlines' Southeast Asian network, with flights to several destinations within countries including Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and Laos.

In 2017, the airline launched its first flights travelling outside of Asia and Australia, with the announcement and launch of intercontinental flights to Honolulu and Berlin. The airline stopped operating the Honolulu service soon after launch but still operates the Berlin flight today.

Scoot started out from a humble fleet of just 3 Boeing 777-200 aircraft, and is now a proud family of more than 40 aircraft, consisting of Boeing 787 Dreamliners and Airbus 320 family aircraft, with more on the way!

Scoot is certified with the highest 5-Star COVID-19 Airline Safety Rating by Skytrax for the safety measures and improved hygiene processes and protocols introduced by Scoot to help reduce the spread of Coronavirus.
