STARLUX Airlines, a vibrant Taiwanese full-service carrier, is headquartered in Taipei and took flight in 2020 with its inaugural route from Taipei to Macau. Founded in 2016, STARLUX operates from its primary hub at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (TPE), delivering a premium travel experience with a modern flair. Currently, it serves 2 domestic destinations and 28 international destinations in 11 countries.

On 16 September 2024, Starlux announced that it plans to apply to join the Oneworld alliance.

As of May 2025, Starlux Airlines operates an all-Airbus fleet composed of the following aircraft: 13 Airbus A321neo, 5 Airbus A330-900 and 10 Airbus A350-900.

Designed by Yu-Ching Pan, founder of P.Seven, exclusively for STARLUX, Home in the Air is crafted for the cabin environment to provide an exquisite experience during passengers' journeys. Evoking the comfort of home, the fragrance delivers the tranquillity and refreshing sensation of gliding through the universe, fostering a warm and cosy ambience. The cabin fragrance, liquid hand wash, and hot towels are all infused with Home in the Air, offering a calming, peaceful scent that transforms passengers’ perceptions of flying.

Cabin lighting adapts seamlessly to different situations—boarding, dining, or sleeping—with smooth transitions that allow passengers' eyes to adjust comfortably. During nighttime flights, the lighting creates an optimal sleep environment, helping passengers rest and recharge for the next leg of their journey.

STARLUX Airlines offers an online pre-selection meal service for all cabin classes, periodically introducing exclusive online meal packages. A selection of local cuisines from around the world, combining classic or creative cooking styles with seasonal ingredients from around the world to bring an innovative twist to passengers' in-flight dining experience.

STARLUX offers four cabin classes: First, Business, Premium Economy and Economy.

First class is offered only on Airbus A350-900 aircraft, with cabins featuring four seats in a 1-2-1 configuration. The seats can be converted into a fully lie-flat setting and feature a door along with a 60-inch (152 cm) high partition. The seats include a personal mini-bar along with a 32 in (81.3 cm) video screen and a personal wardrobe. The cabin notably features no bulkhead separation with the business class cabin behind. First Class passengers departing from Taoyuan Airport are chauffeured to and accommodated by the Huan Yu VIP Terminal.

Business class seats on narrow-body aircraft allow passengers to enjoy the most comfortable flight experience. A lighter back shell with a metallic finish encloses a darker-toned seat, creating an intimate personal space for Business Class passengers. The black on black textures provide visual depth and rich tactility with highly contrasting golden embroidered details and anodised metal applications. Using geometric and organic patterns creates a dynamic contrast within the seat and cabin.

In Business Class, STARLUX offers an exclusive menu created by Michelin chefs, with a rich selection of wines. The airline collaborates with Michelin-starred restaurants and famous food and beverage brands to combine the culinary cultures of different regions with the culinary ingenuity of talented chefs to serve passengers delicious dishes and drinks in the sky.

Premium economy class is offered only on the Airbus A350-900, featuring 36 Recaro PL3530 seats in a 2-4-2 configuration. The seats feature a 40-inch (101.6 cm) pitch and are individually equipped with calf rests and footrests, along with 15.6-inch (39.6 cm) IFE touchscreen monitors.

Passengers in Economy Class can enhance their journey with a range of thoughtful amenities, including dental kits, eye shades, earplugs, slippers, and more, designed for comfort. The cabin features a bright, neutral-toned back shell paired with warm, natural hues in the seat cover and headrest, creating a spacious and inviting atmosphere. The cloth cover showcases rhythmic linear motifs woven in vibrant, multi-colored threads, adding a touch of sophistication. Clean lines and varied pattern orientations on the backrest lend a modern, furniture-like elegance to the seating.
