 Xiamen Airlines, branded as XiamenAir, was founded in 1984. It is China's first privately owned airline created under the modern corporate system headquartered in Xiamen City, Fujian Province. After 35 years of sustainable development, Xiamen Airlines has become an airline with distinctive characteristics in China’s civil aviation industry. The airline operates scheduled passenger flights out of Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport (XMN) and, to a lesser extent, Beijing Daxing International Airport (XMN), Fuzhou Changle International Airport (FOC) and Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport (HGH).

As a proud member of the SkyTeam Alliance, XiamenAir is at the forefront of global air travel, offering an extensive network that spans the globe. At the heart of XiamenAir’s success is its fleet, which is among the most modern in the region. With an impressive all-Boeing fleet—the largest of its kind in China—the airline ensures passengers enjoy comfort, safety, and reliability. As of January 2025, XiamenAir operates a fleet of 172 aircraft, with an average age of just 6 years, underscoring its commitment to quality and innovation in air travel.

While maintaining existing advantages, XiamenAir will focus on transformation and innovation, expanding the navigation service chain and mass customer base, and building a regional network. With its global aviation network and the world's only 787 Dreamliner with Sustainable Development Goals livery - United Dream, XiamenAir will share the concept of sustainable development with more than 100 million passengers by 2030, contributing even more Chinese efforts in building a community of shared futures for mankind.

Skytrax certified XiamenAir as a 3-Star Airline for the quality of its airport and onboard products and staff service. Product rating includes seats, amenities, food & beverages, IFE, cleanliness etc, and service rating is for both cabin staff and ground staff.
