Georgian Airways, formerly Airzena, is Georgia's privately owned flag carrier. Its main base is Tbilisi International Airport.

Georgian Airways operates direct flights to Europe and other destinations from Tbilisi. Under the slogan "Fly with us", the airline has direct flights from Tbilisi to the following destinations: Paris, Nice, Vienna, Amsterdam, Berlin, Munich, Milan-Bergamo, Larnaca, Tel Aviv, Saint Petersburg, Moscow, and Yerevan.

Georgian's fleet previously included the following aircraft: Boeing 737-300, Boeing 737-400, Boeing 737-500, Boeing 737-800, Bombardier CRJ100ER, Embraer 190 and Embraer 195.

The safety of Georgian Airways operations remains the highest industry priority – compliance with IOSA standards and recommended practices help the airline deliver operational safety in all key areas, as well as provide a higher level of efficiency.

In 2010, Georgian Airways became a member of the IATA. To be accepted as an IATA member, the airline underwent the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA). The IOSA Program is an internationally recognized and accepted evaluation system designed to assess the operational management and control systems of an airline.

All qualified pilots with an average age of 30-45 years are certified in categories II and III, which qualify them to operate in adverse weather conditions. The crews take initial theoretical and practical training as well as six months of recurrent simulator training in Boeing and CRJ facilities, in the following training centres:
