Interjet, also known as Interjet Airlines, was a Mexican low-cost carrier headquartered in Mexico City. The airline operated scheduled flights to and from various destinations within Mexico, as well as to and from the Caribbean, Central America, North America, and South America.
Interjet flew to almost 30 destinations within Mexico, as well as covering 5 major cities in the United States, including San Antonio, Miami, and Las Vegas. From Benito Juárez International Airport (Mexico City) and Lic. Adolfo López Mateos International Airport (Toluca), the airline services included Chicago, Dallas/Ft, Worth, Houston, Los Angeles, New York and Orlando/Sanford. Other international routes included Montréal, Canada, Havana, Santa Clara, Varadero, Cuba, Bogota, Colombia, Guatemala City, Peru, Lima, San Jose, Costa Rica and more.
The airline offered one class fare on its flights: the standard economy. Interjet offered great onboard service. Travellers could enjoy snacks as well as hot and cold beverages on board. They could also stay entertained onboard with the airline's in-flight magazines.
Interjet has unfortunately ceased operations in December 2020 due to financial difficulties.
