Loganair

Serving the people of Scotland and beyond, Loganair is proud to be the UK's largest regional airline. The airline is based at Glasgow Airport (GLA) near Paisley, Scotland. In addition to its main base at Glasgow, the company has hubs at Aberdeen International Airport (ABZ), Edinburgh Airport (EDI), Inverness Airport (INV) and Newcastle International Airport (NCL).

Loganair has been flying since 1962, when it had just one aircraft – now the airline offers more than 40 going to destinations across Europe, Scandinavia and the British Isles. 60 years in the making, the experience and expertise are long and outstanding, so passengers can expect only the friendliest and most professional service on every journey they make with Loganair.

The airline primarily focuses on serving remote and island communities, connecting them with major cities across the UK and beyond. With a fleet of modern aircraft, Loganair offers a comfortable and efficient travel experience to its passengers. The airline is known for its commitment to customer satisfaction and safety, ensuring a seamless journey for travellers. Loganair’s extensive route network covers a wide range of destinations, including scenic and remote locations that are often underserved by larger airlines. With its dedication to quality service and community connectivity, Loganair continues to play a vital role in facilitating regional travel and fostering economic development in the areas it serves.

In 2023, Loganair retired its remaining eight Saab 340B passenger aircraft, as the company welcomed a further eight ATR next-generation turboprops into service in the same year.

As of July 2025, the Loganair fleet consists of 35 aircraft. Of these, 11 are regional jets from Brazilian manufacturer Embraer's ERJ series, 6 ATR 42, 12 ATR 72, 1 De Havilland Canada DHC-6-300 Twin Otter and 2 De Havilland Canada DHC-6-400 Twin Otter.

The new ATR turboprops bring up to a 27% reduction in carbon emissions per seat versus the Saab 340, which operates on Loganair’s Highland and Island routes. This supports the airline’s commitment to reducing emissions and achieving full carbon neutrality by 2040.

Loganair continues to drive interconnectivity and increase the frequency of its key routes to better serve loyal customers.

For every journey, from business and corporate to children and students, Loganair has a fare to suit everyone's needs.
