Nok Air is a low-cost airline in Thailand operating mostly domestic services out of Bangkok's Don Mueang International Airport.
Thai Airways International is the major shareholder along with other forward-looking investors in the company.
The airline was initially registered on 10 February 2004 under the name ‘Sky Asia Limited’, this had been subsequently changed to Nok Airlines and has since been trading in the Stock Exchange of Thailand from 20 June 2013
‘Nok’ means birds in Thai. It is a symbol of freedom, air travel and friendliness.
Nok Air has a fleet of over 14 Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Nok's fleet and the maintenance staff will fulfil your flying experience with safety and joy to your destinations. They use the same aircraft and maintenance team as Thai Airways International (PCL), an international-standard maintenance system with the same level as other major airlines. Also joint-maintenance with Air France for acquiring engine, components and aircraft maintenance planning. They are regularly trained according to an advanced standard course which is officially accepted by the FAA.

Passengers are allowed to carry one hand luggage which can weigh up to 7 kgs and one check-in baggage which weighs up to 20 - 30 kgs depending on the Fare Type. For additional luggage, charges are applicable. Please read more information about baggage policies.
