Royal Jordanian

Founded in 1963, Royal Jordanian is the national airline of Jordan. The carrier is based at Queen Alia International Airport in Amman, Jordan. With over 500 flights per week and at least 110 daily departures it serves nearly 45 destinations in some 30 countries throughout the Middle East, Europe, Asia, Africa and North America. In 2007, Royal Jordanian was partially privatized and the Jordanian Government owns a majority stake in the airline.

In 2007, Royal Jordanian joined the Oneworld alliance.

Royal Jordanian has codeshares agreements with the following airlines: Alitalia, American Airlines, British Airways, Etihad Airways, Gulf Air, Iberia, Malaysia Airlines, Middle East Airlines, Oman Air, Qatar Airways, Royal Air Maroc, S7 Airlines, Turkish Airlines.

Royal Jordanian's slogan is “The way you want to fly”.

Since its establishment, Royal Jordanian managed to grow from a regional pioneer operating a three-aircraft fleet directed towards three destinations, to a leading global airline with a fleet of more than 25 modern aircraft, and a diverse network of more than 45 destinations spread across four continents. Royal Jordanian' fleet consists of 5 Airbus A319-100, 6 Airbus A320-200, 2 Airbus A321-200, 7 Boeing 787-8, 2 Embraer 175, 2 Embraer 195, 1 Airbus A310-300F (Cargo).

On an international level, Royal Jordanian managed to establish a strong foothold in the aviation market through our credible reputation and renowned services.

Strategically located in Amman, Royal Jordanian's central hub provides the ideal location through which Europe, Asia, Africa, and anywhere in the Middle East can be easily reached. Royal Jordanian's Amman City Terminal at 7th Circle provides a central locale for sales and early boarding services. Royal Jordanian is proud to fly in and out of the main airport, Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA), conveniently situated just outside the city.
