Royal Jordanian

Founded in 1963, Royal Jordanian is the national airline of Jordan. The carrier is based at Queen Alia International Airport (AMM) in Amman, Jordan. With over 500 flights per week and at least 110 daily departures, it serves nearly 45 destinations in some 30 countries throughout the Middle East, Europe, Asia, Africa and North America. In 2007, Royal Jordanian was partially privatized and the Jordanian Government owns a majority stake in the airline.

In 2007, Royal Jordanian joined the Oneworld alliance.

Royal Jordanian has codeshares agreements with the following airlines: Alitalia, American Airlines, British Airways, Etihad Airways, Gulf Air, Iberia, Malaysia Airlines, Middle East Airlines, Oman Air, Qatar Airways, Royal Air Maroc, S7 Airlines, and Turkish Airlines.

Since its establishment, Royal Jordanian managed to grow from a regional pioneer operating a three-aircraft fleet directed towards three destinations, to a leading global airline with a fleet of more than 29 modern aircraft, and a diverse network of more than 45 destinations spread across four continents. Royal Jordanian' fleet consists of 9 Airbus A320-200, 1 Airbus A320neo, 3 Airbus A321-200, 7 Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, 3 Embraer E190-E2, 2 Embraer E195-E2, 2 Embraer ERJ-175, 1 Embraer ERJ-195 and 1 Gulfstream G700 (GVIII-G700).

On an international level, Royal Jordanian managed to establish a strong foothold in the aviation market through its credible reputation and renowned services.

Royal Jordanian offers two travel classes: Economy and Crown Class.
