Spirit Airlines

Spirit Airlines, Inc. often referred to as simply Spirit, is an American ultra-low-cost carrier headquartered in Miramar, Florida, in the Miami metropolitan area. As of 2021, Spirit Airlines is home to over 7,000 Flight Attendants, operates approximately 600 daily flights to over 80 destinations throughout Central America, the Caribbean, South America, and the United States with an all-Airbus fleet.

February 2020 fleet plan outlined 293 aircraft planned by 2027. The airline operates an all-Airbus fleet of about 160 single-aisle aircraft in the A320 family and growing.

As of May 2021, It maintains crew bases at Atlantic City, Chicago–O'Hare, Dallas/Fort Worth, Detroit, Fort Lauderdale, Las Vegas, and Orlando.

Spirit is the eighth largest passenger carrier in North America, as well as the largest ultra-low-cost carrier in North America.

Spirit Airlines offers passengers two seating options, namely, Standard and Big Front Seat.

• Standard Seats: Standard seats are the basic seats offered to the passengers that don't include any reclining feature. However, the travellers can enjoy a relaxing journey with the airline. Further, the fare with the seating option is quite reasonable.
   
• Big Front Seats: For travellers who prefer more space can select big front seats that offer them extra legroom options as compared to the standard seating. So, to fly extra comfortably the passenger can select this seating option.

Spirit Airlines was founded in 1964 as Clippert Trucking Company in Michigan. It began air charter operations in 1990 and was renamed Spirit Airlines.
