Tunisair is Tunisia's flag-carrier airline. It was jointly owned by the Tunisian government and Air France. The airline's emblem is a leaping gazelle trailing horizontal speed lines in its wake. Tunisair's head office is located on Route X near Tunis–Carthage International Airport in Tunis.

Tunisair flies to destinations across Africa, Asia, Europe and North America.

Tunisair is fulfilling its mission of opening up the regions of Tunisia’s interior by ensuring regular connections between all Tunisian airports. The airline has also been actively involved within Tunisair in the development of regular local lines and international charters thanks to seating capacities allowing optimization of filling and operating costs to foster greater synergies and complementarities between the different types of traffic. As of November 2023, the airline serves 24 countries on 68 routes.

As of 28 March 2024, according to planespotters.net, Tunisair possesses a fleet of 19 owned aircraft: 2 Airbus A319-100, 10 Airbus A320-200, 5 Airbus A320neo and 2 Airbus A330-200.

The airline provides 2 travel classes: Economy and Business.

 

 


The combination of two colours on the logo is chosen to highlight the belonging to Tunisia (the red colour) and represent the nature of airline activity (the blue colour), which sends the consumer’s imagination towards the sky.

Tunisair is Certified as a 2-Star Airline by Skytrax for the quality of its airport and onboard products and staff service. Product rating includes seats, amenities, food & beverages, IFE, cleanliness etc, and service rating is for both cabin staff and ground staff.
