Pax Romana

Day 1: Arrival in Milan Malpensa Airport, transfer in hotel.

Breakfast in hotel or Lunch. City tour of Milan. Visit of Piazza del Duomo, Duomo Cathedral, Piazza Mercanti, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Piazza della Scala and Castello Sforzesco, Palazzo Reale di Milano.

Overnight at the hotel in Milan.


Day 2: Milan - Venice

Breakfast in hotel and check out. Free time for lunch.

Transfer to the Milano Central train station to take the train to Venice. Transfer in hotel. Visit St. Mark's Square to start a guided walking tour of romantic Venice. View of the enchanting Basilica of San Marco, the Bridge of Sighs and visit of the Doge's Palace, whose front side features a massive late-Gothic gate, known as the Porta della Carta. Transfer to hotel in Mestre for overnight. (some of the transfers will be performed by boat).
 

Day 3: Venice

After breakfast we will visit the Armenian side of Venice. We will start from St. Lazzaro island where there is the homonym monastery and church of Saint Lazzaro, populated by Armenian monks. Surroundings gardens frame the Gothic church originally built in the 14th century. About 170,000 volumes are preserved in the island from all over the ancient world.

Back to Venice. Free time for shopping and lunch. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight in hotel (some of the transfers will be performed by boat).

Day 4: Venice - Florence

Breakfast in hotel, transfer from Venice to Florence by train, transfer & accomodation in hotel and start of a guided tour of the city of Florence:  visiting the Piazza del Duomo and the Ponte Vecchio. Free time for lunch.

In the afternoon visit of Basilica of Santa Croce, Baptistery of San Giovanni, Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Giotto's bell tower, Palazzo Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria.

Overnight at the hotel in Florence.


Day 5: Florence

Breakfast in hotel. Visit of: Cathedral of Santa Maria Maggiore, Basilica San Lorenzo, Basilica Santa Maria Novella and Galleria delle accademie to visit the stunning David of Michelangelo. Free time for lunch.

In the afternoon shopping tour in outlet.

Overnight at hotel in Florence.


Day 6: Florence - Milan

Breakfast in hotel, visit of Palazzo Pitti and Boboli’s garden, free time for lunch. In the afternoon transfer from Santa Maria Novella station to Milan by train.

Arrive to Milan transfer & accomodation in hotel. Free time for shopping.

Overnight at hotel.


Day 7: Milan

Breakfast in hotel, Cenacolo Vinciano: l’ultima cena di Leonardo da Vinci, Colonne di San Lorenzo e Corso di Porta Ticinese, Chiesa Santa Maria delle Grazie, Chiesa di Sant’Ambroggio. Free time for lunch. Time for shopping.

Walk tour across Via Montenapoleone & via Torino.

Overnight at hotel.


Day 8: Hotel drop off - Transfer to Milan Malpensa airport - Seeing off.

Breakfast in hote, time for shopping, transfer in Airport to Milano Malpensa.
