Kutaisi International Airport (KUT) is an airport located 14 km west of Kutaisi, the third largest city in the country of Georgia and capital of the western region of Imereti. The mild climate in the area and strategic location make it alternate airport for the region.

The airport is equipped with the highest quality navigation and weather systems, has a 2,500 m runway and can simultaneously serve up to 600 passengers, receive 2 and depart 3 flights.

KUT is operated by United Airports of Georgia, a state-owned company.

Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before the scheduled departure time to allow sufficient time for check-in and security procedures. They should verify the opening and closing times of the check-in counters for their specific flight. This information is usually provided on the flight ticket or itinerary. Airlines enforce strict check-in deadlines, and passengers who arrive after the closing time will not be accepted. To locate the appropriate check-in desk and boarding time, passengers can consult the Information Desk screens located near the terminal entrance.

Many airlines now offer online check-in. Passengers are encouraged to confirm with their airline whether this service is available for their journey, as eligibility may vary depending on the route and passenger type. They should also remember to print their boarding pass before arriving at the airport, as some airlines may charge a fee for issuing a boarding pass at the terminal.
Most airlines permit one piece of hand baggage per passenger. This item must be small enough to fit in the overhead compartment or under the seat in front of them. Checked baggage allowances vary by airline, so passengers should confirm the applicable limits with their operating carrier. Passengers are also strongly advised to review the list of prohibited items to ensure they do not carry onboard any items that are not permitted.

Whether travelling on domestic or international flights, passengers will be required to undergo an airport security check. This security process concerns the items allowed onboard an aircraft. Both carry-on luggage and checked baggage will be screened using detection equipment and may also be subject to manual inspection. These procedures are in place to ensure that no dangerous substances or items are transported, thereby maintaining the safety and security of passengers, crew, and the aircraft.

All passengers travelling to Georgia are subject to passport control. Citizens of European Union Member States may enter Georgia using a passport or a national identity card. The identity card must include the passenger’s full name, surname, date of birth, and photograph.

In Magelline's eyes, Kutaisi Airport is the soft heartbeat of western Georgia, where vineyards, rain-washed hills, and ancient roads lift their stories into the sky, sending every traveller forward with the calm spirit of Imereti.
